Creating narrative experiences through installation, spatial storytelling, objects, light and moving image.

Adriana Patsalou is a Cyprus-based multidisciplinary artist and designer creating environments that can be entered, inhabited and remembered.
Her current practice centres on experiential installations, immersive dining, set design and creative direction. Research, material, ritual and storytelling become spatial narratives in which light, sound, objects, image and human presence work as one.
This direction grows from more than twenty years of experience in interior and spatial design and an education spanning interior design at Intercollege in Nicosia and painting, multimedia and installation at the Athens School of Fine Arts. That background remains a foundation rather than a boundary: it provides an understanding of atmosphere, movement, construction and the emotional life of space.
Across residential, retail and independent spatial projects, she brings architecture, interiors, furniture and objects into a coherent visual language. Her work is shaped by composition, materiality and function, and was recognised in 2012 with an International Property Award for Best Retail Interior Design.
Her wider practice includes furniture, lighting and product concepts, alongside fashion, painting and moving image. As founder and creative director of her eponymous fashion label, she developed the Terminal collections, Haute Sports Limited and Experimental Couture, presenting work during Paris Fashion Week and at Tranoï Richelieu. Editorial recognition includes three features in British Vogue in 2019.
Her visual art practice moves between painting, multimedia and digital image. She has participated in group exhibitions including presentations at Megaron — The Athens Concert Hall and in Thessaloniki, while selected wall-based works are held in private collections in Washington, D.C. and New York.
Her ongoing writing and research platform, Human Experience Through Design, forms the theoretical ground of the practice: an enquiry into perception, ritual, memory, materiality and the ways designed environments influence how people feel and behave. This research now extends into cinematic storytelling, public-space proposals and the meeting point between physical and digitally constructed environments.
